Play anytime, with anyone, anywhere!
The Nintendo Switch is a groundbreaking home gaming console. Not only does it connect to your TV screen at home, it instantly transforms into a 6.2-inch portable game console that is ready to move with you wherever you want.
For the first time ever, gamers can enjoy a home console gaming experience anytime, anywhere and take Nintendo's beloved characters to new heights in breathtaking HD graphics.
The Joy-Con controller
The Joy Con controller offers a number of surprising and new ways to play. You can use two Joy-Con controllers independently in each hand, or together as one controller with both controllers connected to the Joy-Con Grip accessory (included in the package). In addition you can connect the two controllers to the main console screen for use in mobile mode, or transfer one controller to a friend and enjoy playing together in the supported games. Each Joy-Con has a full set of buttons that can be used as a standalone controller individually, and each includes motion sensors and a gyro sensor, which bring the control and steering control experience left and right in racing games to a new level of enjoyment.
The Nintendo Switch has a number of built-in features that make it more interactive. The Joy-Con on the left has a "Screen Capture" button so players can take screenshots instantly. The right Joy-Con controller includes an NFC point for interacting with amiibo characters, along with a 'Motion IR' camera that can detect the distance, shape and movement of objects in specially designed games. For example, the controller can not only detect how far it is from the player's hand, but also if the player's palm is in the shape of a stone, paper or scissors.
The two Joy-Con controllers include the HD Rumble systems, which provide compatible games with a particularly sophisticated and realistic vibration mode to the level that a player can, for example, feel the vibration of ice cubes colliding inside a beverage cup when he moves the Joy controller -Con even manage to guess how many dice were in the glass.
The Nintendo Switch makes life easy for gamers to stay connected. You can connect up to 8 consoles to local wireless games. And by placing the console using the built-in stand on the back of the console screen, players can disconnect the Joy Con controllers and play together anywhere.
